Incredible views, super peaceful spot with a huge terrace and plenty of space. Aramis came and met us at the lake, was very responsive to messages and even let us check in early as there were no guests the night before. Just be mindful there isn’t much reception in Cerro Azul, so save the GPS location to your phone just in case. If it rains, it’s tricky to move between upstairs/downstairs as the stairs are external. The house is a semi with people living next door, which also would have been good to know in advance, but was not an issue. Thanks for everything Aramis!
This house is beautiful and the area is fantastic. The host wear very kind and supportive at any time for all or questions and needs. If you’re looking for a relaxing place in a very comfortable Mountain House this is definitely your best choice in Cerro Azul
Iam a traveller of the world and I have high expectations, and I can honestly say that when my little brother Marko encouraged to me to come to Panama I was skeptical. I need hospitality, safety, good food, adventure and relaxation. Panama with David and Arletys in Los Altos de Cerro Azul exceeded all my expectations! Swing in a hammock all day or 4 wheel in the tropical rain forest….it was paradise with raging rivers and quiet swimming ponds where you are serenaded by waterfalls and tropical birds. A kind, gracious and warm community were you meet and have fun with fellow Canadians every day. Panama City… close by where the shopping is amazing. San Blass; an adventure you will never forget. This is a place where I could retire and live forever.
Is a beautiful area where I felt safe and secure. I loved looking out at night and seeing all the lights of the city. It was gorgeous weather (I have been told all year round about 25 degrees C). Remember to use sunscreen. I didn’t since I was not overly hot but with this sun so close to the equator I got a sunburn. The internet was good and hearing from home (in Ontario) about the snow and storms it was great to be able to rub in the beautiful weather. The house was well equipped, modern and wood and tile flooring added to the warmth in decor. I loved the mix of familiar groceries and stores with the latin culture. Plant life, flowers and animals are abundant, lots of hiking to be done and just relaxing. I will plan another trip to visit new places I did not have time to see. It was heaven in the mountains…
